The lush gardens of Rainforest Green in the Parklands at South Bank will come alive with the exquisite voices of Opera Queensland artists for a special operatic performance – Sunset Opera 2012.

In its fourth year, this stunning event is an initiative of Opera Queensland and South Bank Corporation, and promises an unforgettable outdoor experience that will entertain audiences of all ages.

Sunset Opera features performances from Opera Queensland’s star performers with a program full of all your favourites from popular opera and musical theatre, plus a preview of the delights from Opera Queensland’s 2012 Season.

Opera at the Racecourse

Under a canopy of stars, Opera Queensland and Queensland Symphony Orchestra will come together again to celebrate all that is great about opera.

In its third year, this unique opera experience offers festival lovers of all ages a chance to sit back, relax and take in the soaring voices of Australia’s best-known artists accompanied by the captivating music of the state orchestra. Pack a picnic and get settled on the greens at Eagle Farm Racecourse for a night of magnificent music in a magical atmosphere.
